About the Event
Event Overview
The Stratford Turkey Day Trot has become one of the largest Thanksgiving races in the area, averaging over 800 participants annually. This event features a 5K run and a 200-yard kids run and is supported by local emergency services and public workers.
Course Details
Our flat and fast 5K course is suitable for all abilities, starting in downtown Stratford. Runners will enjoy a scenic route with a turn around near historical landmarks.

- Thanksgiving Morning Schedule:
- 6:00 am - Wake up, have a coffee
- 7:00 am - Leave early to avoid traffic
- 8:00 am - Parked and ready to run!
- 8:05 am - FREE Kids run
- 8:10 am - Announcements and National Anthem
- 8:15 am - Turkey Trot 5K start
Registration Information
Registration is online only and is capped at 1000 participants. Early registrants save the most with fees starting at $31.
