About the Event
The Tidewater Striders and RunSomeMo Present the 2024 Suffolk Freedom Run! Join us for a fun-filled event with a 5k race and a Kids Freedom Mile.
COURSE
FLUIDS AND FOOD: There will be 1 aid station with water at about the 1.5 mark.
AMENITIES & POST-RACE
All 5k & 1 Mile registered runners will receive a Premium T-Shirt & All finishers will receive Medals. Onsite hospitality & refreshments including Pizza, Snacks, and Cold Beverages
PACKET PICKUPS
Early Packet Pickup will be at Momac Brewery on Friday, November 8th, 3 pm-6 pm. Race Day Packet Pickup will be from 7-7:50 am for 5K & 7-9 am for the mile on Race Day by the starting area.
RACE TIMES
The 5k race starts at 8 AM and the 1 mile starts at approx 9:15 am
AWARDS
5K Race: Top 3 OVERALL Male and Female, and Top 3 Male and Female in age groups will receive awards! Top 3 Walkers Male and Female will also receive awards. 1 Mile: The top 3 OVERAL Males and Females and the top 3 Males and Females in age groups will receive awards.
REGISTRATION
Registration will be open until 7 a.m. on Race Day. STRIDER PLUS/LEGACY RUNNERS and CLUB MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS available.
