Super Bowl 5k

Event Information

The Super Bowl 5k takes place in Lansing, Michigan. The race starts and finishes in front of the Michigan State Capitol.

Course Details

This is a 2-loop course on Capitol Ave with a total distance of 3.1 miles (5k). Your results will include your time for the first loop, and if there is snow, the course will be plowed and salted!

Start Time

The race begins at 10 AM on Sunday, February 9, 2025.

Pricing

• Entry fee: $30 until January 30th (includes a shirt).
• $35 from January 31 to February 8th (T-shirts available while supplies last).
• Youth pricing (ages 19 and under): $20 until February 1st and $25 from February 2nd to 8th (includes a T-shirt as well).

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup is available on Saturday, February 8th, from noon to 5 PM at Central United Methodist Church, 215 N Capitol Ave, Lansing. Race day packet pickup will be from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the same location.

Awards

Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in age groups and an overall male and female winner will receive a medal and $25 Playmakers gift certificate.

Team Competition

Create a team of 4 or more to compete in the team race. Teams need a minimum of 4 members and can win trophies based on the fastest times.

Parking

Parking is free on all downtown streets on weekends, with ample off-street options as well.

Charity Information

Proceeds from this race benefit High School and Middle School Cross Country and Track programs, as well as Youth Running Clubs through the Michigan Running Foundation grant program.
