The Fox & The Turkey Races

Join us for The Fox & The Turkey Races, a beloved Thanksgiving tradition in Batavia, IL. This year marks the 28th anniversary of this classic event, featuring both a 4 Mile Run and a 1 Mile Youth Race.

Event Details

The races will start and finish in downtown Batavia. The Youth Mile kicks off at 7:30 AM, followed by the 4 Mile race at 8:10 AM. Participants can enjoy a festive atmosphere while supporting a great cause, as $5 from each 4-mile registration will be donated to the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry.

Registration Information

Registration fees vary based on the timing and membership status. Early bird pricing is available until September 15, with standard and last chance pricing leading up to the event. Awards will be given to the top finishers in various categories, including overall winners and age groups.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup is highly encouraged on the day before the race, with additional pickup available on race day morning. Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry.
