The Graveler is a 132km unique bike race held in New Zealand that offers a distinct experience for participants. While ideally suited for gravel bikes, riders can participate on any type of bicycle including gravel bikes, mountain bikes (hardtail recommended), or e-bikes in a non-competitive section.
The race starts outside of Hanmer Springs, following picturesque Molesworth Road towards Molesworth Station, crossing the Waiau Toa/Clarence River and continuing via Acheron River, culminating in a challenging yet rewarding course with 99.7% gravel.
Key Features:
- Elevation gain of 1,724m
- Multiple cut-off times set throughout the course
- Emergency gear recommended, including an emergency blanket and waterproof jacket
- Prize giving will take place 15 minutes after the last competitor finishes
Participants will have the chance to explore remote and beautiful terrains in New Zealand, making it a memorable race experience.
