The Ranch 50k

Event Details

The Ranch 50k will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Dixon Lake Picnic Area in Escondido, California.

Course Information

The 50K event consists of a 15.6-mile loop that will be run twice, totaling 6,318 feet of elevation gain (1,926m). The half marathon will cover a 13.1-mile loop with 2,706 feet (825m) of gain.

Aid Stations

• 50k Event:
  • La Honda Aid Station at 5.4 & 21 miles
  • Lilac Hill Aid Station at 10 & 25.7 miles
  • Dixon Lake Aid Station at 15.5 & 31.1 miles
• Half Marathon Event:
  • La Honda Aid Station at 4.75 miles
  • Lilac Hill Aid Station at 9.5 miles
  • Dixon Lake Aid Station at 13.1 miles

Cut-Off Times

• 50K: 5 hours for the first loop, 10 hours on the second loop.
• Half Marathon: 9.5 Hour Cut-off.

Schedule

• Race Packet Pickup: TBD
• 50K Race Start: 7:00 AM
• Half Marathon Start: 7:30 AM
• Post-Race Celebration & Award Ceremony until 6:00 PM

Race Swag

All entrants will receive a shirt upon sign up, and finishers will get a medal and additional swag.
