Turkey Trek

Event Details

Experience a beautiful Turkey Trek 5K or 10K through Johnson Branch State Park where you will enjoy scenic views and a tranquil atmosphere surrounding Lake Ray Roberts.

Course Overview

• 5K: Sidewalk, crossing Timbers Trail, flat terrain with less than 50 feet elevation.
• 10K: Sidewalk, double track, rocky/rooty trails, with some rolling hills showing a 300-foot elevation gain.

Location: Johnson Branch State Park, 100 PW 4153, Valley View, TX 76272. A DAY PASS is required to enter the park.

Schedule

• 7AM to 8AM - Packet Pickup
• 7:50AM - Race Brief
• 8AM - 5K and 10K Starts
• 9AM - Award Ceremony for 5K
• 10AM - Award Ceremony for 10K
• 11AM - Cut off (3 hours)

Registration Information

Registration closes on Nov 27th at 11:59PM. No race day registration available.

• 5K Price: Opening - $35, increases after Oct 1st & Nov 1st.
• 10K Price: Opening - $45, increases after Oct 1st & Nov 1st.

Refunds/Discounts

Runners can receive a race credit for future races with a minimum 30-day notice. Discounts are available for active duty military and first responders upon verification.
