Twilight Race

Event Details

The Twilight Race is a festive year-end event taking place on December 31, 2024, at Lakemont Park in Altoona, PA. Participants can choose from three courses: a 5k run, a 2-mile run, or a leisurely 2-mile walk, all amidst beautiful holiday lights.

Course Information

All courses run through the lights on the lake at Lakemont Park. Runners will complete laps depending on their race. Walk participants can enjoy the lights for free without additional registration.

Start Times

• 5k Run: 4:00 PM
• 2 Mile Run: 4:30 PM
• 2 Mile Walk: 5:00 PM

Registration Information

Early registrants will receive a long sleeve t-shirt. No race day changes or bib replacements will be allowed without a fee. Safety rules prohibit headsets and pets. Please remember that registration fees contribute to a good cause.

Awards

Awards will be given to the top finishers in various age categories after the race. Participants are encouraged to stay for the awards ceremony.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are welcome and will receive a race t-shirt and food post-event. Interested individuals should contact the organizer for more details.
