Viking 1M, 5K, 10K, 15K, & Half Marathon at Gemini Springs Park, DeBary, FL (12-21-2024) RD1

This is a US Road Running Club Race and part of the US Road Running Race Series. It is not required to be a club member to run with us. Club members receive 50% off club races and a US Road Running shirt. To join go to usroadrunning.com.

Race Information

The race starts at 8:30 AM. Packet pickup starts 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race starts. All runners must register on RunSignup. No on-site registration.

Additional Information

Enter Gemini Springs Park from Dirksen Drive. Turn right at the first stop sign and park in the West Parking loop. You can find US Road Running check-in/bib pick-up and start/finish at O.K. Corral shelter. Follow park signs for East Parking if West Parking is full. Restrooms are located on the opposite side of West Parking than O.K. Corral - beyond the playground. View map.

1M Course

5K, 10K, & 15K Course

View 5K, 10K, & 15K Course Map. The course is an out and back. The 5K does the course one time. The 10K does the course two times. The 15K does the course three times.

Half Marathon Course

Course Time Limit: 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Awards

1st Place Overall Male, 2nd Place Overall Male, 3rd Place Overall Male, 1st Place Overall Female, 2nd Place Overall Female, 3rd Place Overall Female. Age group awards are based on series points and awarded at the end of each calendar year.

Finisher Medals: All finishers will receive a themed medal.

Best Costume: It is not required to wear a costume, but we do encourage it. At the beginning of each race, we take a group photo. The best costume will be awarded at the beginning of the race.

Race Rules

Entry fees are non-refundable, with no exceptions. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. No dogs on the course. Walkers are always welcome.
