Viking 5K & 10K at Loyd H Roland Memorial Park, Akron, PA (12-21-2024) RD1 is a US Road Running Club Race and part of the US Road Running Race Series. It is not required to be a club member to run with us. Club members receive 50% off club races and a US Road Running shirt. To join go to usroadrunning.com.

Race Information

The race starts at 8:00 AM. Packet pickup starts 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race starts. All runners must register on RunSignup. No on-site registration.

5K and 10K Course

Course Map

This is an out-and-back course. 5K does the course twice, and 10K does the course four times. The 5K and 10K are limited to 2:00 hours.

Awards

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall male and female, as well as age group awards based on series points. Finishers will receive themed medals. Best costume will be awarded at the beginning of the race.

Race Rules

Entry fees are non-refundable, with no exceptions. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. No dogs on the course. Walkers are always welcome.
