About the Event
Event Details
The Wheeling Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day features a 5K Run/Walk and a 1K Children's Fun Run. Proceeds support Wheeling Parks and Recreation's mission to build healthy communities.

- Wheeling Turkey Trot 5k - Distance: 5,000 meters
- Pardoned Turkey - Distance: 5,000 meters
- Children's Fun Run - Distance: 1,609 meters

1K Children's Fun Run: 8:30 AM
5K Run and Walk: 9:00 AM
Packet Pick-up Info
Pick up your race packet at the Parks and Recreation Office on:
- November 26th from 9 AM – 7 PM
- November 27th from 9 AM – 1 PM
- Race day at the McDonough Center from 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM.
Ticket Information
Registration fees are as follows:
- Wheeling Turkey Trot 5K: $25 - $40
- Children's Fun Run: $15
Prices will increase on November 5, 2024.
