Wonderland Trail Race

We’re all a little mad here! Follow the rabbit hole down to Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area for Wonderland Trail Race, a 3-day event of racing, music, and just a little bit of crazy. Just 1 hour outside of Austin and situated along Lake Travis, Muleshoe Bend is deep in the Texas Hill Country.

Come for a challenge on these technical trails with rocky and root-filled climbs, but stay for the music, beer, and food all weekend. Our course is a series of loops that give you 5 different race options. Run 4 loops to tackle the 40-miler, with around 2,500 feet of gain. Or, run 3 loops for the Marathon on the same tough course with just a hare less elevation. The Half Marathon and 10k will be run twice during the weekend, and the 5k on all three days. Run one or run all, you choose your own level of madness!
