10th Annual Tampa YMCA Turkey Gobble 5K & 1 Mile

The 10th Annual Tampa YMCA Turkey Gobble 5K & 1 Mile event will take place on Thurs., Nov. 28, 2024, at Amalie Arena in Tampa. Join us for a fun-filled race to kick off your Thanksgiving Day!

Race Day Timeline

5:30 am - Plaza at Amalie Arena opens

6:30 am - 5K Corral Staging

7:00 am - 5K Races Begin

8:00 am - Announcements & Awards

8:15 am - 1 Mile Walk Begins

Price & Timing

The 5K event is chip timed, while the 1-mile event is not. Prices range from $30 to $45 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile. Registration closes at noon on 11/27/24.

Participant Registration

Registration includes a chip-timed bib for the 5K, a gender-specific dri-fit shirt, and a finisher medal for all participants. Awards and prizes will be given to top finishers.

Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up

Packet pick-up options are available at Dick's Sporting Goods and the Central City YMCA. Race day registration and bib pick-up are not available.

Parking & Gear Check

Parking is available at various garages in downtown Tampa. Gear check is not available on race day.

Virtual Race

Virtual participants will receive a t-shirt and medal at packet pick-up. Run or walk your race between 11/20-11/27 at your own location.

Volunteers

Volunteers are needed and can sign up on the race registration site.
