21st Sandia Snowshoe Classic 2025

Save the Date: Saturday, January 18, 2025!

Join us for the 21st Sandia Snowshoe Classic, presented by the Friends of the Sandia Mountains (FOSM). The race will begin at 11:00 am at the lower-level parking lot at Sandia Crest and is a 5K tour of the beautiful trails in the Cibola National Forest.

The event is limited to 175 participants, ages 13 and older; racers of all levels are welcome. This race has filled up quickly in the past, and there won't be any race day registrations.

Course Information

• Course name: 5K Snowshoe Classic
• Distance: 5K
• Registration Fee: $45, includes refreshments, swag, and parking fee.

No refunds, no rescheduling, and no transfer of entries. Participants will receive their bib and giveaways at race day check-in.

Special Notes

Please bring your own snowshoes! Local rentals are available. Plan to carpool to the Crest on race day as parking is limited.

All proceeds go to the Friends of the Sandia Mountains for trail preservation and maintenance.
