Babbitt's Backyard Ultra

About the Race

The Babbitt's Backyard Ultra will commence with a bell gongs to signal the start of the race. Runners will have one hour to complete a loop of 4.167 miles on a mix of dirt trails and road, with an elevation gain of 150 feet and breathtaking views.

Rules

• All competitors must be in the starting corral at the bell.
• Each loop starts precisely one hour after the last.
• Warning will be given 3, 2, and 1 minutes prior to the start.
• No late starts allowed.
• Except for restrooms, competitors cannot leave the course until the loop is completed.
• No personal aid during a loop.
• Each loop must be completed within an hour to be counted.
• No non-competitors on the course, including eliminated runners.
• No artificial aids (including trekking poles).
• Slower runners must allow faster runners to pass.
• Water will be available throughout the race.
• Runners will have an 8’ by 8’ space near the start/finish.
• The winner is the last person to complete a loop.
• Results in terms of distance covered will be provided for each runner.

Health & Safety

• Wide trails for safe distancing.
• Hand sanitizer will be available.
• Social distancing will be observed.

This is a not-for-profit event; any net proceeds will support local businesses or non-profits.

Entry Fee: $77.90 (includes taxes and fees), increasing to $101.10 after March 30.
