Event Details

Our Spring half-marathon trail run at Babcock State Park, the Gristmill Grinder, has become an icon in the West Virginia Trail Running scene! We are already super excited about our 2025 event! Come run with us and enjoy remarkable views and amazing scenery. Reserve your spot today as this run will have only 250 slots available and will fill quickly!

Event Schedule

• Packet Pickup: Friday evening at a location to be announced and Saturday morning at the Start/Finish Line, Sugar Creek Picnic Area from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM.
• Directions to Finish Area: Enter Babcock State Park from Route 41 at the main entrance. Continue straight toward the Gristmill. Go past the Mill and on toward Sugarcamp Picnic Area.
• Race Start: The race starts at 10:00 AM. The Walk will begin at 10:10 AM.
• Weather: Expect cool weather in April. The average weather can vary, so keep an eye on forecasts and pack accordingly.
