BC Backyard Ultra

BC Backyard Ultra is hosted at the Sicamous Public Beach Park in Sicamous, British Columbia, and supports the Canadian Championship Series & Big Dog’s Backyard Ultra World Championship.

The trails that make up the BC Backyard Ultra route is within the Traditional Territory of the Southern Secwepemc First Nation. It is a privilege to experience the preservation & beauty of these lands.

The format is inclusive and offers a chance to run with community, set personal records, and experience an engaging event.

Event Details

• Date: Friday, Apr 25, 2025
• Start Time: 8:00 AM PT
• Location: Sicamous Public Beach Park, Sicamous, BC
• Registration Fee: $160 CDN (+GST & UltraSignup fee)
• Ages: 19 years and older

Registration will close on April 11 @ 8am or when the race fills; whichever comes first. No refunds are offered and registration is transferable until 8am on April 11, 2025, for a $20 administration fee.

The Course

The route offers a mixture of non-technical trails and pavement, with minimal elevation gain. An exceptional staging area awaits with community support and high fives!

Prizes

Winners will receive prizes, including cash rewards for laps completed and invitations to future Championships.
