Bear Country 10k & 5k

The Bear Country 10k & 5k are beautiful, family-friendly races in the gorgeous mountain town of Brevard, NC. Both races start and finish at Oskar Blues Brewery. The courses take runners on the Brevard greenway, surrounded by stunning mountain vistas. Bring your child for the 1k Kids Cub Crawl (for kids 12 & under) starting at 9:40 AM! Each Cub Crawlers will receive a race bib and ribbon. Runners will also receive a commemorative t-shirt included in their registration.

Enjoy a beer on us! An Oskar Blues beer is included in registration for participants 21+. Please provide a valid ID. Discounts are available: 20% discount for groups of 4 or more if registered together in one transaction.

Strollers and friendly dogs are welcome at the 5k & 10k, but please start at the back of the pack. Dogs must be leashed.

The event also offers a Virtual Participation option, where your swag will be mailed to you after race day. Virtual participants are not eligible for awards.
