Bike Chester // 17 August 2025

Bike Chester is Chester's favourite cycling event, with well established roots in the Chester cycling community. As an entrant you will benefit from:

• Fully signposted routes with a backup route map and GPS files
• Feed stations on long and medium routes
• On course medical support
• A finishers medal and a meal at the end of the ride
• Free event parking

2025 entry fees are £42.50 for the two long routes and £32.50 for the short route for adults, £22.50 for under 16s. There will be an online booking fee on all entries.

Location

The start/finish area will be at Chester Rugby Club. Parking facilities available.

Facilities

Toilet facilities at the start/finish and at feed stations. Period products available in all female toilets. Changing facilities and bag drop at the start.

Getting there

By Car: Parking available at Chester Rugby Club. By Train: Chester Rugby Club is 2.2 miles and a c.13 minute cycle from Chester Station.

What kit do I need?

A roadworthy bike, a helmet, and self-sufficient tools such as tyre levers, a mini-pump, spare inner tubes, multi-tool, and puncture repair kit. Feed stop will have high energy food and water but bringing extra snacks and water is recommended.

What clothing do I need?

Wear comfortable clothing, recommended: a waterproof jacket and padded cycling shorts.
