Welcome to the Black Dog Choose Your Own Adventure Training Team!

Are you wanting to run a 5K or Half Marathon? Looking for accountability in your workouts and life goals? New to running and in need of coaching on training, fueling, and gear? This team is designed for you!

Coach Diane and Life Coach Alicia bring RRCA training and years of experience to support you in your running journey.

Prerequisites:

• If you're training for a half marathon, you should be able to run/walk a 5K comfortably.
• No prerequisites for the 5K training.
• A willingness to be open-minded for life training.

Target Race Date:

For 5K/Half Marathon - March 1st, 2025.

This event provides a NO COST training team plan and coaching. Your registration fee of $10 covers administrative costs.

Program Includes:

• Orientation meeting on December 18, 2024.
• Daily training plans with varied workouts.
• Weekly coach-led long runs.
• Individual meetings with coaches to discuss goals.
• Feedback on your workouts.
• Team Black Dog Shirt and 10% store discounts.
• Access to a private Facebook training team page.
• Warm-up/cool down stretching, form drills, and race day preparation.

Training Meeting Times:

• Wednesdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 7am.
