Champlain Islands Marathon & Half Marathon

Starting Times

The Full and Half Marathon will start at 8:30 AM directly in front of the Folsom Elementary School.

Courses

• Half Marathon: 13.1 Miles
• Marathon: 26.2 Miles

The marathon course is two out-and-backs of the half-marathon route, starting and finishing near the home of Clarence H. DeMar, a seven-time Boston Marathon Winner. The terrain is mostly paved and flat to rolling.

Aid Stations

There will be an aid station approximately every 2 miles, providing water and electrolyte drinks.

Registration

Pre-registration is now open!

• Marathon: $70 pre-registration; $80 race day
• Half-Marathon: $50 pre-registration; $60 race day

Register online by October 19 at midnight. Maximum number of runners is 500.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will take place at SkiRack on:

• Friday, Oct. 18th, 12-6 PM
• Saturday, Oct. 19th, 10-6 PM
• Sunday, Oct. 20th, 7-8 AM at Folsom School

Awards

Awards will be presented to the top finishers in various categories along with medals for all finishers.

Restrictions

Runners must be at least 16 years old to participate.

Course Features

This event is a certified marathon and qualifies for the Boston Marathon. All miles will be marked, and the course starts at 190 feet elevation. Note that no refunds, deferrals, or transfers are permitted.
