Crystal Springs Ultra Races

Event Details

The Crystal Springs Ultra Races will take place on August 9, 2025 at 8:00 AM. Located at 723 Pump Hollow Lane, Wytheville, VA 24382, this event showcases breathtaking landscapes through the scenic High Rocks Spur Trail and Boundary Trail loop.

Distances

• Half Marathon: 12.8 miles with 2,008 ft of gain (1 loop)
• Marathon: 25.6 miles with 4,016 ft of gain (2 loops)
• Ultra: 38.4 miles with 6,024 ft of gain (3 loops)

This is a loop course.

Schedule

All distances will start at 8:00 AM with a 5:00 PM cutoff. Note that parking is limited at the venue and shuttle services are required to transport participants to the start line. Shuttles will run from 6:30 AM until all racers have finished.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will occur on:

• Friday, August 8, 2025 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Seven Sisters Brewery, 355 E Main St, Wytheville, VA 24382.
• Race day from 6:45 AM to 7:45 AM at the Start/Finish Line.

Runners will receive half off their first drink with a bib or medal at Seven Sisters all weekend!

Registration Information

Early registration is encouraged as a race shirt is not guaranteed for those registering after August 1. This is a cupless race, so participants must carry a collapsible cup or bottle. Aid stations will offer snacks and limited hot food.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued for entry fees, but runners can transfer their distance or entry to another runner, with allowable rollovers for medical conditions.

Awards

Awards will be given for the top three finishers in each gender category (Male, Female, Nonbinary).
