Delaware School for the Deaf 7th Annual 5k Run/Walk

The Delaware School for the Deaf 7th Annual 5k Run/Walk is a charity event aimed at supporting Language Access and Acquisition for children who are deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf/blind. The event will take place on October 12, 2024, in Newark, DE.

Race Time: 8:00 am- Registration opens, 9:00 am- Race start

Benefits

The event will benefit the Delaware School for the Deaf on-site educational programs, providing a safe and supportive learning environment for students.

Course

Join us for a 5K run/walk, with no dogs allowed due to insurance liability. Bibs are non-transferable.

Amenities

Participants will receive a rally towel, Chick-fil-A Discount Order Card, door prizes, refreshments, and music.

Awards

Top finisher awards will be given out, as well as awards for different age groups and categories.

Timing

R2R Timing will chip time using the MYLAPS BibTag Timing System. Results will be posted online during and after the race.
