Event Overview

A Winter Backyard Ultra starts on Friday, December 13th, 2024, at 10:00 am SHARP!

The course is designed for participants to run 4.167 miles every hour on the hour until only one participant remains. Hosted at the Bonneville County Exhibition Hall & Sandy Downs Park in Idaho Falls, ID.

Course Information

The course comprises approximately 25% grass, 20% horse racetrack, 35% dirt, 8% sand, and 12% pavement, with potential snow-covered paths in December. Runners must maintain a pace of at least 14 minutes and 23 seconds to finish in time.

A bell will ring to signal runners to return to the start corral before the hour ends, guaranteeing an organized and challenging race structure.

Awards and Recognition

Participants will receive awards for various benchmarks, including a custom DNF award for non-winners and a special prize package for the "Last Horse Standing".
