About DUA KRAKATOA

DUA KRAKATOA is a challenging duathlon located at Laguna de Bragado. Participants will run 4 kilometers, followed by 4 kilometers of kayaking for individual categories and 2 kilometers for teams, concluding with another 4-kilometer run.

Competitors can choose to participate individually or as pairs in a relay format. If you do not have your own kayak, there is an option to rent one for race day.

This event caters to well-trained athletes as well as newcomers to the discipline. Additionally, there will be free afternoon competitions exclusively for registered participants, ensuring a complete and entertaining experience for all skill levels.

Entry Costs:

• Individual Category: ARS 20,000
• Team of 2: ARS 30,000 (ARS 15,000 per participant)
• Kayak Rental: ARS 10,000

Costs include a race t-shirt, finisher medal, bib number, and wristband (for relays), registration for the afternoon race at no extra charge, hydration service during the competition, and insurance.

Awards

Top three positions in each category (female and male) will be awarded.

Accreditation

Bib numbers will be distributed on Friday, January 10, at the Club de Regatas Krakatoa. Only participants traveling from long distances may register on the event day, provided they notify the organizers in advance.
