F^3 @ the Forge: Fat Tire Race & 10K Trail Run

Race Information

Bring on the adventure of winter racing and riding for the 3rd Annual Fat Tire Race, and returning this year the 4th F^3 Forge 10K Trail Run on the (hopefully) snow-covered trails at The Forge and adjoining trails! A long and short course option will be available so riders of all abilities can choose the event best for them.

The race will take place on the hopefully snow-covered gravel and MTB trails throughout The Forge: Lemont Quarries, adjoining Heritage Quarries Recreation Area, and I&M Canal trails.

• The Forge Fat Tire Bike Race - Long Course: Distance: 20K, Price: $36.00 - $42.00
• The Forge Fat Tire Bike Race - Short Course: Distance: 10K, Price: $36.00 - $42.00
• F^3 Forge 10K Winter Trail Run: Distance: 10K, Price: $39.00 - $45.00 - $50.00
• Fat Bike + F^3 10K Winter Trail Run: Distance: 30K, Price: $60.00 - $66.00 - $72.00

Race Day Schedule

• Parking Opens: 7:45 AM
• Packet Pick-Up & Registration: 8:00 AM - 8:45 AM (Fat Tire) / Until 11:00 AM (Trail Run)
• Fat Tire Race Start: 9:00 AM
• Trail Run Start: 11:11 AM

Awards & Finisher Medals

Each finisher in the bike races will receive a metal F^3 token/medallion while each finisher in the Trail Run will receive a wooden medal.

Directions and Parking

Use these directions for parking. Use Lots 1 or 2 after the 2nd stop sign on the gravel road. They are closest to the bridges to enter The Forge, packet pick-up, and the common start and finish line.
