About the Event

The Gianna Cirella Memorial 5k Walk/Run celebrates the life of sixteen-year-old Gianna Cirella, a vibrant soccer player whose life was tragically cut short by sepsis. Join us as we aim to raise awareness and funds for sepsis research through this meaningful event.

Important Race Information

• Online registration closes on May 9, 2025.
• Bib Pick Up: Saturday, May 10th from 9-11 AM at First Baptist Church of East Greenwich, 34 Peirce St., East Greenwich, RI.
• Day-of registration at Goddard Park at 8:00 AM on May 11th.
• Participants can purchase raffle tickets at Bib pick up.
• Mail-in registration is also available. Send to: The Gianna Cirella Memorial 5k, PO Box 7815, Warwick, RI 02887.
• Checks should be made payable to The Gianna Cirella Memorial Fund.
• Sign up by April 20th to guarantee a t-shirt!
