Hops, Hounds and Halloween 5K and VyStar Fun Run & Costume Contest

Event Details

Join us on October 12, 2024, for the third annual Hops, Hounds and Halloween 5K hosted at Kanine Social in Jacksonville, FL.

This event supports the Jacksonville Humane Society and includes a fun costume contest. Train for a 3.1-mile fun run or a 1-mile VyStar Fun Run that is open to all ages, including your furry friends!

• Hops, Hounds and Halloween 5K: Distance - 3.1 Miles
• VyStar Fun Run & Costume Contest: Distance - 1 Mile

Registration Fees

- Hops, Hounds and Halloween 5K: $25.00 - $40.00 (Price increases after September 20, 2024) - VyStar Fun Run: $20.00 - $25.00 (Price increases after October 11, 2024)

Event Schedule

• 6:30 - 7:30 AM: Same Day Registration and Check-in
• 8:00 AM: Hops, Hounds and Halloween 5k (runners without dogs)
• 8:05 AM: Pet Costume Contest
• 8:45 AM: Hops, Hounds and Halloween 5k (runners with dogs)
• 9:30 AM: VyStar Fun Run starts
• 9:00-11:00 AM: After party with live music and awards ceremony

What's Included

Registration includes an exclusive race shirt and logo pint glass, one beer or soda, a day pass to Kanine Social’s dog park, and a finisher’s medal.

Awards

Overall winners will receive a FREE annual park membership to Kanine Social. Age group awards will be presented in various categories.
