Event Details

Join us for the Kennekuk Road Runners Members Only Meet The Backpack event, where trail runners will experience one of the most challenging trails in the Midwest.

Trail Description

This spectacular trail offers plenty of beauty, mud, and a long stair climb. It is advised not to run this trail alone, especially if it is your first experience.

Directions

To reach the starting point, head south on Route 1 to Westville. Turn left on East Main Street at the stoplight (you will see Julee's Shooting Star Tavern on the northwest corner). Follow the road for 7.2 miles to the Forest Glen entrance. Turn left into the park and proceed to the Maple Grove Lodge.

Party Information

The party will be held at the new location, Maple Grove Lodge. KRR will provide Italian beef with fixings and beverages. Guests are welcome to bring a side dish to share.
