Qualifying for Boston

This marathon is a great opportunity for runners to qualify for the Boston Marathon. The qualifying period for the 130th Boston Marathon, scheduled for April 20, 2026, began on September 1, 2024.

Do not sign up unless you are prepared to qualify. There is a 4:30 time limit for the marathon, and a qualifying race is required to register before July 15.

Course Description

The Last Chance BQ.2 takes place at Secchia Meadows in Millennium Park, featuring a scenic course along paved paths and shaded areas, with beautiful views of the Grand River and meadows.

Race Weekend Information

Packet pickup will be available:

• Saturday from 4-7 PM at Fulton Street Pub & Grill, 801 W Fulton Street.
• Sunday at the race site starting at 6 AM.

Race Start Time: 7 AM on Sunday.

Aid Stations and Support

Multiple aid stations will provide water and Gatorade along the course.
