Welcome to the Light the Way 5K: Walk On Rock On for Mental Wellness, benefitting The Evie Effect. Our event is dedicated to promoting mental wellness, community support, and hope. Join us for an evening of fun and connection as we come together to illuminate our individual and collective paths towards well-being.

This event is more than just a run; it's an opportunity to support each other and highlight the importance of mental health. After the 5K, enjoy our exciting after-run concert and speaker sessions featuring live music performances and inspiring speakers sharing messages of hope.

Race Schedule

Friday, April 11
Early Packet Pickup: 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Saturday, April 12
4:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Check-In and Day-of Packet Pickup
5:30 PM - 6:00 PM: Kids 1K (ages 12 and under)
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: 5K (ages 13 and above)
7:00 PM - 10:00 PM: After Run Concert and Speaker Sessions

After the Race

Enjoy food from local vendors and explore sponsor booths dedicated to supporting community mental wellness. First 250 5K finishers will receive a medal, and all Kids Dash participants will receive a medal.

The Evie Effect’s mission is to change the public’s perception of mental wellness and suicide by fostering a community of advocacy, awareness, and education.
