The Liverpool Turkey Trot is a 501(c)(3) status event known for its festive atmosphere and stunning park setting. Its humble beginnings 11 years ago with just 124 runners have grown into one of the largest and most celebrated turkey trots in Central New York.
Event Details
The Liverpool Turkey Trot will take place on November 28, 2024. Registration is online only. The event includes various courses and virtual participation options throughout the month leading up to Thanksgiving.
Race Day Schedule:
- 8:15 am: Kids “Fast Feet” Run (appx. .50 miles)
- 9:15 am: 5K and 5 Mile Run
- 9:30 am: Dog Walk (appx. .75 miles)

The courses have been updated for safety and enjoyment. Participants will run along Liverpool Village Streets and scenic paths within Onondaga Lake Park.
