Course Description

The Lost River Trail Run features a beautiful, challenging running course through the wooded mountain trails of Lost River State Park. The course is hilly with sections of both smooth and rugged terrain, some pavement, and several shallow water crossings. Runners can choose to do a primarily paved out-and-back for the 1 mile, or a loop for the longer distances. Routes may change on race day based on trail conditions.

Timing

The 9 mile and 1/2 Marathon races start at 9:00 AM, while the 1 mile and 4.5 mile events begin at 10:00 AM. Check-in starts at 8:00 AM at the Lee Sulfur Spring Shelter.

Additional Info

Participants will receive a T-shirt (while supplies last) and post-run pizza. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female competitors in each distance category, excluding the 1 mile run/walk.

The event benefits the Lost River Trails Coalition, which is dedicated to maintaining and developing the trails in the area.
