Mardi Gras Mile

Event Details

This is our 3rd annual Mardi Gras Mile that will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM. This race is part of the New Bern Mardi Gras Festival and promises a wonderful experience for all participants.

• Distance: 1 Mile

Pricing

Registration is $20 per participant until February 1, 2025, after which it increases to $25 until race day on March 1, 2025.

Awards

• 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Overall, Male & Female
• 1st in Age Group, Male & Female: Under 10, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-80, 80+

Giveaway

All race registration includes a customized Mardi Gras bead and a drink ticket.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be available at the start line starting at 10:00 AM. Same-day registration closes at 10:40 AM.

Location

The race will take place at the intersection of 6th and Spencer Ave, New Bern, NC 28560.

Additional Information

Parking is available at Temple Church (1500 Kingdom Way, New Bern) with access from Rhem St. Due to the Mardi Gras Festival and parade, expect some road closures. Please arrive early to find parking and reach the start line on time.

Awards Ceremony

Following the race, awards will be announced at the main festival stage.
