Mount Maunganui Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon 2024-2025 Series

Welcome to the Mount Maunganui Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon 2024-2025 Series! This event is designed for children aged 6 to 15 years, providing a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to participate in a triathlon.

Event Details

The event will take place on Sunday, December 1, 2024, starting at 8:00 AM NZDT at Arataki Park, Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. Participants will compete in various age-appropriate courses, including swimming, cycling, and running.

Course Information

Each age group has a specific course designed to challenge and engage young athletes:

• 6 Year Olds: 50m swim / 1.5km run
• 7 Year Olds: 50m swim / 4km cycle / 1.5km run
• 8-10 Year Olds: 75-100m swim / 4km cycle / 1.5km run
• 11-15 Year Olds: 150-200m swim / 8km cycle / 1.5km run

Fundraising Opportunity

Participants can also engage in the TRY IT ON fundraising programme, which supports less fortunate kids in the community to participate in the event. Fundraising is optional but encouraged.
