Mount Yonah Vertical Race

About the Race

The Mount Yonah Vertical Race will feature two distances:

• 5,000ft of climbing over 3 summits totaling roughly 25km.
• 10,000ft of climbing over 6 summits totaling roughly 50km.

Participants can look forward to an exciting challenge over two days, with the 10k on Saturday and the 5k on Sunday. There will also be a King and Queen of the Mountain race on Sunday morning.

• 8:00 AM - 10k Race Start
• 4:00 PM - Must have started final lap!
• 6:00 PM - Course closed
• 6:30 PM - After-party at NoFo Brew Co (2 miles away)

Sunday, February 16, 2025

• 6:30 AM - Packet Pickup
• 8:00 AM - 5k Race Start
• 2:00 PM - Must have started final lap!
• 4:00 PM - Course closed
• 5:00 PM - After-party at NoFo Brew Co (2 miles away)

The race will start and finish at the Mt Yonah parking lot located on GA-75, Cleveland, GA 30528.

Important Information

• Cutoff Time: 10 hours to complete, must reach the final summit by 4 PM.
• Gear Requirements: Participants must carry a water bottle or collapsible cup, and a waterproof shell or jacket.
• Aid Stations will be available at the trailhead and near the summit.
