Event Details

This race will take you on a tour of the mountains of NC that were decimated by Hurricane Helene. Run through forests where almost all trees were knocked down, showcasing a view of the destruction like nothing you have ever seen.

Bakersville is a small community nestled within the beautiful borders of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The course will be the cross country trail that the High School runs in the fall. Part of the preparation for this race includes clearing that trail so participants have a place to run.

All profits from this race will go towards replacing the playgrounds in Mitchell County, one of the hardest hit counties in North Carolina.
