OEC Fun Run

Event Details

Date: February 15, 2025

Start Time: 8:00 AM CST

Distances: 5K and Kid's 1K

Location: Sugar Land Memorial Park, 15300 University Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479

Course

The course will run around the lake first before heading down University Blvd towards UofH. It will start at the main pavilion (next to the playground), down University Blvd to the lake, left around the lake, a U-turn at U of H, and back to the finish line.

Pre-Race Packet Pickup

When: Friday, February 14, 2025 from 10 AM - 6 PM

Where: Fleet Feet Sugar Land, 15890 Southwest Fwy #600, Sugar Land, TX 77478

Race Day Packet Pickup

On race day, packet pickup will be available from 7:00 - 7:45 AM.

Race Day Timeline

• 8:00 AM – National Anthem/Prayer
• 8:05 - Kids 1K
• 8:20 - 5K
• 9:30 - Awards to Top 3 male and Top 3 female

Miscellaneous

5K is chip timed. Parents may accompany kids on the Kid's 1K. Each kid will receive a prize and a medal! No pets on the course. Strollers are welcome.

Inclement Weather

The event will be held rain or shine. In case of unsafe weather conditions, the race will be canceled, and all fees will be donated to the OEC Nguyen Foundation. There will be no refunds or transfers due to race cancellation from weather conditions.
