Peoria Jaycees' Firecracker 5000 Fourth of July 5K

Kick off your Fourth in Red, White, and Blue! Join the Peoria Jaycees for a festive 5K, currently in its 45th year! The race begins and ends at the former Hooters location on the Riverfront and features a flat 3.1 mile course with one water station along the way. An optional COLOR RUN will take place after the race!

Fee includes chip timing, a shirt (while supplies last), refreshments including subs from Avanti's (while supplies last), donuts, snacks, and water. Participants aged 21 and over will also receive two beer tokens. Kids age 10 and under can register at half price!

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be available on Thursday, July 3 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at RC Outfitters and on race day, July 4 from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM at the parking lot of the former Hooters location.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 1 Male & Top 1 Female; Top 1 Male Masters (40+) & Top 1 Female Masters (40+) based on Gun Time.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 Males & Top 3 Females in each category.

Participants can look forward to having their pictures added to their finisher page after the race!
