Portland Sea Dogs Mother's Day 5K

Event Details

The Portland Sea Dogs and the Maine Track Club will host the Mother's Day 5K Road Race, presented by InterMed, on Sunday, May 11th at 9:15 am. A Kids Fun Run will also take place at 8:30 am, free of charge.

Course Description

Slugger and his Mom will lead the way on the flat 5K course starting in front of the Portland Expo building, with an exciting route through beautiful streets and finishing in front of the third base dugout at Hadlock Field.

Awards

The top overall male and female finishers will receive trophies, season tickets, and the chance to throw the ceremonial first pitch at a future Sea Dogs game. Age group awards will also be presented.

Registration Details

Register for the 5K for $27.00 - $32.00 or join the Kids Fun Run for free! Commemorative shirts are available to the first 750 registrants in the 5K.

Purpose

Proceeds support the American Cancer Society to help breast cancer patients and research efforts. Together, we can lead the fight for a world without cancer.
