Race to the Rock - 5K Run

Location: Best View Motel, 504 Main Street, Chimney Rock, NC 28720, US

Join us for the Race to the Rock - 5K Run starting at the Best View Motel. The course winds through Chimney Rock State Park, ending with breathtaking panoramic views of Hickory Nut Gorge and Lake Lure. Participants must exit the mountain after the race and awards, but can return once the park reopens.

When: Sunday, August 10th from 6:00 am - 7:15 am

Packet Pick-Up Location: Old Rock Cafe, 431 Main St., Chimney Rock

Price: $30.00 - $40.00 for Individual Registration

Registration Opens: July 1, 2025 at 12:00 am EDT

This event is open to ages 10 and up. Come enjoy a challenging run and a wonderful view at the Race to the Rock!
