Rosemary Weigel Frostbite 5K

The Rosemary Weigel Frostbite 5K walk/run begins near twilight in Glen Miller Park with luminaries and holiday cheer lighting the way.

Join us after the race for our annual Celebration of Lights, a cup of hot chocolate, and a visit with Santa!

This race is special to the Richmond Parks and Recreation staff as it is named after Rosemary, a long-time park employee, who passed away in 2012 after battling cancer. Her spirit is honored through this event, which also serves as a fundraiser for summer park programs.

Don't miss this chance to participate in the last race of the Wayne County Challenge's annual 8-race series.

Register by Nov. 15, 2024 to guarantee your Frostbite 5K T-shirt and requested size on the day of the race! The entry fee will increase to $20 (for ages 12 and under) and $25 (for ages 13 and older) as of Nov. 16, 2024. T-shirt availability for those who register after 11/15/24 will depend on available sizes and quantities on race day.
