Sandhills Sasquatch 1 Mile Repeat

Event Details

The Sandhills Sasquatch is a 1-mile loop around Aberdeen Lake in Aberdeen, NC. The route is scenic, well-maintained, and well-marked. The race is simple: complete as many 1-mile loops as you can!

Event Schedule

• Event Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025
• Start Time: 8:00 AM EDT
• Packet Pickup: Friday, October 24, from 6-8 PM at Rail House Brewery, and same-day pickup on October 25 from 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM.

Event Features

This is a self-paced event. Run, walk, or rest as needed for the duration. The runner that covers the most distance is declared the winner. An aid station with water, Gatorade, and snacks will be available at the start/finish line. Participants can set up personal tents and tables.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded for the top male and female finishers. All participants receive an official race t-shirt and finishing medal. Note: T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after October 12, 2025.
