Shore2Shore 50K and 25K

Event Overview

The Shore2Shore race, organized by Happily Running and the LI Greenbelt, offers a scenic 50K and 25K trail running experience from the North Shore of Long Island at Sunken Meadow to Heckscher State Park.

Course Details

The course is 100% along the Suffolk County Long Island Greenbelt Trail, featuring well-maintained paths and occasional road crossings. A downloadable map will be available soon, and course marking will be provided to guide runners along the route.

Registration and Requirements

Registration opens until April 1, 2025. Each entrant is required to volunteer for 2 hours with a local trail organization or donate $20 to the Long Island Greenbelt Trail Association.

Event Logistics

Parking is available at Heckscher Park's finish area, with bus transportation provided to the starting line upon purchasing a bus ticket. A check-in process will also take place at the start line.

Aid Stations

Fully stocked aid stations will be available along the course, providing hydration, snacks, and other refreshments.
