Sierra Club - Lancaster Polar Bear 5K Trail Run/Hike

Come join the fun! The Sierra Club – Lancaster Group invites you to participate in this 5K (3.1 miles) trail race that supports the environment. Bring your dog, we love our pups!

Location:

Lancaster County Central Park - Kiwanis Lodge (Pavilion 22)
826 Eshelman Mill Road, Lancaster, PA 17602

Event Schedule:

• Check-In/Registration: Begins at 8:30 AM
• Race Start: 10:00 AM
• Awards Ceremony: 10:45 AM

Arrive between 8:30 & 9:30 AM to catch a shuttle from the parking area to the starting line.

Courses:

• Sierra Club Lancaster Group Polar Bear 5K Trail RUN - Distance: 5K, Price: $40.00
• Sierra Club Lancaster Group Polar Bear 5K HIKE - Distance: 5K, Price: $40.00

Additional Information:

Funds raised support the Green Grant Program, funding local environmentally focused organizations.
Be prepared for possible mud, snow, and ice. Trekking poles and micro spikes are allowed.

Prizes:

• Top 3 male & female runners
• Top 3 dogs with owners
• Top 3 winners in each age group
• Door prizes for participants!

Important Notes:

Please bring your own water bottle. Race will happen rain or shine, and there are no refunds or deferrals allowed.

Dog Policy:

Well-behaved dogs are welcome! Keep them on a leash and clean up after them.
