The Southern Freeze 50/50 offers an exciting urban running experience in Columbus, GA, featuring amazing views and highlights like the world鈥檚 longest urban whitewater course, Columbus State University, and The National Infantry Museum.
Join the Southern Freeze races for winter fun, or take on the Freeze and Fry combo for a special discount and award for completing races in both seasons.
- Freeze and Fry 50k: January and August 25k races (total of 50k).
- FF100k: Covers January and August 50k races.
- FF100 mile: January and August 50-mile races.
Aid stations will offer Southern ultrarunning favorites like chicken and dumplings, grilled cheese, cookies, and beverages to keep you refreshed. All participants receive a T-shirt and beanie, and finishers will earn a medal.
The event features a 10-hour cutoff for the 25k and 50k, and a 14-hour cutoff for the 50-mile race, making it accessible for everyone from ultramarathon veterans to beginners.
