Springfield Schools Elementary Cross Country Series

The Springfield Schools Cross Country Series is a fantastic opportunity for students in K-6th grade from Springfield, Maumee, Rossford, or Swanton School to participate in free cross-country races. Each participant will receive a unique cross-country t-shirt available for purchase at registration.

Event Details

The series consists of three cross-country meets held at Homecoming Park, located at 7807 Angola Rd., Holland, OH 43528. The races will take place on September 17, September 24, and October 1, 2024. Each race will feature different age categories, ensuring that every child has a chance to compete.

Race Schedule

Estimated start times for the races are as follows:

• K-2nd grade girls (½ mile race)—5:30 PM
• K-2nd grade boys (½ mile race)—5:40 PM
• 3rd-4th grade girls (1-mile race)—5:50 PM
• 3rd-4th grade boys (1-mile race)—6:05 PM
• 5th-6th grade girls (1-mile race)—6:20 PM
• 5th-6th grade boys (1-mile race)—6:35 PM

All participants will receive ribbons for their efforts, with awards for the top ten finishers in each category.
