Celebrate clean, healthy water in Grand Traverse Bay with a unique open water swim event on Saturday, August 9, 2025. The event benefits The Watershed Center Grand Traverse Bay, a non-profit organization focused on the preservation of the bay.

Participant Information

Each swimmer needs to raise at least $150 to participate, with support provided for fundraising efforts. A shuttle service will run between the parking lot and the park during the event.

Event Schedule

The swim starts at 8 AM, check-in begins at 7 AM, and a mandatory safety briefing will take place at 7:45 AM.

Safety

Safety measures include monitoring by the U.S. Coast Guard, local emergency services, and assigned safety boats throughout the course.

Packing and Wetsuit Regulations

Wetsuits and swim gear are allowed. Ensure to inform event organizers at check-in if using a wetsuit or additional gear.
