The Blood Run

Event Overview

The Blood Run is held from August 29 to 31, 2025, at an organic vegetable farm located in Lennox, SD. This endurance race takes place on a 1.5-mile loop with minimal elevation change, ensuring a manageable yet engaging experience for all participants.

Course Details

Participants can choose from various distance categories including:

• 36 Hour
• 24 Hour
• 24 Hour 4 Person Relay
• 12 Hour
• 6 Hour
• 3 Hour

Each race starts at different times, with the 36-hour race beginning at Midnight on Friday, August 31, and all races finishing by Noon on Sunday.

Camping and Amenities

There are available camping spots for runners and their crews, along with a fully stocked aid station, including flush toilets, positioned along the race loop. Crews can enjoy the farm atmosphere while supporting their runners.

• 6 Hour - $98.41
• 3 Hour - $75.84

Prices will increase after March 31, so be sure to register early!

Fun Fact

The name “Blood Run” comes from a nearby park which was renamed “The Good Earth at Blood Run,” inspired by the farm's intent to cultivate organic vegetables.
