Join this unique event and self-navigate over 10 or 15 miles to race back to Newcastle from a mystery location. Compete individually or in teams with friends or family to see if you can make it back in time to claim your finisher's prize!

Event Details

The Drop - 15 or 10 Mile Newcastle - Winter is a running event where participants are blindfolded to a mystery location and challenged to cover the 15 or 10 miles back to the event HQ unaided. No GPS devices, maps, or watches are allowed, making it a true test of navigation skills.

Route Information

Participants choose their own route and take on the adventure of finding their way back within the time limit. Finisher's memento, refreshments, and snacks are provided at the finish line.

Event Logistics

Registration opens at 08:15, with the event starting at 10:00 am. Cut-off times are 5 hours for 15 Mile entrants and 4 hours for 10 Mile entrants. All participants must be 18 years or older and have mandatory kit including a waterproof jacket, trousers, foil blanket, whistle, and GPS tracker provided at registration.
